Collaborating Leads to Perfection

A few weeks ago I was fortunate enough to collaborate with one of my amazing sisters who also happens to be a fabulous food blogger herself!  We came together to make desserts for our other sisters (incase you are like how many sisters does this girl have, I am referring to my sorority sisters). But unfortunately she couldn’t be there to make her recipe so I had the opportunity to! And when I had leftovers the obvious choice was for me to recipe test!  This “recipe”  (you don’t actually get a recipe, just some ideas), proves that dessert doesn’t need to be super high in calories or unhealthy for you.  This recipe is vegan, gluten free, and guilt free. So what are we eating?

Coconut Lime Macaroons

I took poetic liberty to make them like french macaroons, so with a filling in the middle. I used three different fillings. One is if you are feeling really healthy, one if you are feeling ambitious, and one if you are feeling lazy.

Check out my sisters awesome blog here.  And check out these fun pictures I took.  Try this out for yourself and happy eating!

So the fillings are: fresh cut strawberries (if you wanna be healthy, cherry wine compote (if you are feeling ambitious), and raspberry preserves (if you are lacking time).  They are all equally delicious but I especially liked the raspberry!
