You know when you talk about some food, and then its all you can think about and if you don’t get it you may go completely crazy!?!?! Well thats what happened to me when discussing a brownie sundae, I knew I needed to have it, but there were two problems with this desire: 1) I didn’t have brownie mix and 2) I didn’t want a pan of brownies staring me in the face every time I went into the kitchen. So my solution was to make the new trend of a mug cake. Except I didn’t want just a normal mug cake, I wanted molten chocolate love mug cake. This love also needed some gooey and sweet friends to spruce up its chocolate pairing. I think I hit the craving on the head, at least for now 😀
Ingredients:
- 2 tbs flour
- 2 tbs granulated sugar
- 3 tbs yogurt (either plain or vanilla will do)
- 1 1/2 tbs cocoa powder
- pinch of baking powder
- splash of vanilla (less if you use vanilla yogurt)
- raspberry jam
- marshmallows
How to:
- so in a microwave safe mug mix your dry ingredients, including the diced up marshmallows
- then add your yogurt and vanilla
- mix this so it is all well incorporated and looks like batter
- lastly add a few dollops of raspberry jam and then swirl it together, only lightly
- then microwave for about a minute and 1/2 maybe a little less or more depending on how gooey you like it
- and HELLO sweet molten love. You could share this.. but why bother, enjoy it all for you! 😉
I do apologize for the poor pictures, but it was calling my name and I couldn’t take the time to take better pictures, deepest apologies
